It was shocking to witness Kanye West, one of the most esteemed rappers and producers of this generation, cause such a scene on a globally televised award show. In 2009, Taylor Swift had one of the best years of her career but she had her thunder stolen by Ye.

During the 2009 VMAs, the Love Story hitmaker was nominated for Best Female Video for her song You Belong With Me. Swift won the award and went on to deliver her acceptance in front of several stars of the industry who were present in the audience.
Midway through the speech, Ye interrupted Swift, grabbed the mic, and proceeded to claim that Beyoncé had one of the greatest videos of all time that year. The Queen Bee herself seemed quite shocked by what she had just witnessed.
After Diddy’s antics came to light and the suspected involvement of Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z was revealed, fans now believe that Ye did that to create a rift between Swift and Beyoncé. Here’s what a fan theorized on X:

P Diddy was arrested in New York on September 16, 2024, after which a bunch of grim details regarding his high-profile parties or “Freak Offs” came to light. Over the last couple of days, several names including Beyoncé and Jay-Z emerged as possible accomplices based on their past friendship with the accused.

It is unsure whether Beyoncé and her husband were directly involved in any of P Diddy’s antics but fans have been bombarding the musical power couple on social media to speak up.
So far, there has been a lot of speculation on social media regarding possible victims of P Diddy. A couple of high-profile names have spoken out against the rapper. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Usher spoke about Diddy’s parties saying,
I went there to see the lifestyle, and I saw it, but I don’t know if I could indulge or understand what I was even looking at. It was pretty wild; it was crazy.
50 Cent was another individual who claimed that he never wanted to hang out with Diddy because of what he was involved in (via Hollywood Reporter).
At this moment, there is more evidence being unraveled by the hour while Diddy spends his time under police custody.
