Although Justin and Hailey Bieber have both expressed their desire to have children together, there’s something holding the Rhode Skin founder back.
Though Hailey Bieber is no stranger to online hate, things got particularly volatile in March when the model was accused of making fun of Selena Gomez during a FaceTime with Kylie Jenner. The backlash went on for weeks until Selena asked her fans to back off after hearing that Hailey was receiving death threats.
“This isn’t what I stand for,” Selena wrote on Instagram Stories at the time. “No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
Though the women are now Instagram mutuals, plenty of people are still leaving nasty comments on the model’s social media posts. In April, Hailey described that period of time as “some of the saddest, hardest moments” of her adult life. “I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, adding, “My mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least.”
During her interview with The Sunday Times, Hailey specifically referenced the response to her ministroke in March 2022. “The day after I was hospitalised, it was on the internet,” she said, per People. “I wanted to talk about what happened in my own words because so many people were making assumptions.”
