-Harry was called a “scratched record” by William’s friend amid information that the red-haired prince is ready to return to perform some royal duties on the condition that his brother apologize.

Although they do not talk to each other, the fact that William and Harry attended the funeral of their uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes, is considered a new step on the path of reconciliation for the British Royal brothers. However, reality quickly extinguished this hope as their factions continued to criticize and demand from each other.

On September 4, the Mirror cited a source close to Harry who denied the news that the red-haired prince was clearing his way back to Britain by reconnecting with old friends and advisers, according to an article in The Mail on Sunday at the end of August.

Insiders confirmed that the Duke of Sussex is satisfied with his decision to give up royal life and focus on building a successful life in the United States. However, he is still willing to take on a few temporary roles in the Windsor family if King Charles asks for support. The prerequisite is that Prince William must apologize to his brother.

The Prince of Wales’ office declined to comment on the Mirror’s article. However, William’s friend laughed at Harry’s self-esteem.

“Harry is a scratched record at this stage. We all know he would love to be given a part-time job in the royal family, but Queen Elizabeth made it clear he couldn’t be half-in. Nothing has changed. Anyone who spreads these ridiculous theories on Harry’s behalf is simply pretending not to understand the message that he is not welcome. They are either very stupid or pretend to be like that,” the source told the Daily Beast.

Previously, friends of the Spencer family seemed optimistic about the future of Harry and William’s relationship after they appeared at the funeral of Lady Jane Spencer’s husband, Princess Diana’s sister.

“Perhaps funerals have always been a place where boys gather under one roof and William’s refusal to come because Harry was present has lit a glimmer of hope in this bleak stalemate. It is an important acknowledgment of the fact that intestinal pus is denser than plain water. It’s a mature, promising sign that their private disagreements are not allowed to overshadow important family events,” the Daily Beast quoted the source as saying.

Friends added that both William and Harry admired Lady Jane Spencer, and appreciated how the brothers put aside their differences following the death of a family member.

However, royal experts don’t think so. They think that the two brothers appear in the same place, in the same room but do not interact with each other, reflecting a distant and difficult relationship to heal in the near future.

Christopher Andersen, author of The King’s biography, emphasized on Fox News Digital that the Windsor brothers’ war continues, and there is still a lot of animosity between them.

In the same vein, Kinsey Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, pointed out that although the two royal brothers attended the funeral, everything was carefully arranged so that they did not have to interact with each other.

“There is nothing general in this appearance. It is two family members who show their respect as individuals. Outside of working hours… Prince Harry caused irreparable damage to his relationship with his brother. Harry may deny his intention to hurt his family members through the release of Spare. However, quotes like, ‘his (William’s) alarming baldness is more advanced than mine, his famous resemblance to the Mummy, fades over time’. That is unnecessary and cruel. That comes from envy and bitterness. With the paperback version of Spare scheduled to be released in October, I think Harry really missed the opportunity to update the book with a sincere apology for all the hurt he has caused,” the American journalist analyzed.
