During the episode, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year runner-up touched on some sensitive topics, including Kelse’s new relationship with world-famous Taylor Swift. Some fans were quick to call her out, with one commenting that her statement about liking Kelce and Nicole together was “weird and unprofessional.”

“I liked you guys together… just saying” was such a weird and unprofessional comment to make,” a fan said.

Another fan criticized Reese for hyping up Nicole’s story about a wild relationship experience, stating:

“And this air head Angel Reese talking about “clock that” just two birds squawking and looking retarded together 😂😂😂😂,” another fan said.
It’s easy to see where these people are coming from, but Reese doesn’t seem to be losing sleep over any of that. She had plenty more to say during the episode, but those didn’t get as much controversy as the discussion surrounding Swift and Kelce.

She clarified that as much as she loved the artist, she didn’t want to sing.

“I love Usher,” Reese said (37:33). “I don’t want him putting cherries in my mouth. You know, I didn’t even want to sing into the mic. I was like, ‘No. I don’t want to do it.’ I was a little scared.”
After a remarkable rookie season that wasn’t exempt from controversy, Reese is cuurently enjoying her offseason while recovering from a wrist injury.
