A video montage posted by Bleacher Report showed NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley wrestling in TNT’s Studio J in Atlanta.

The compilation highlights the iconic Inside the NBA tandem’s love-hate relationship as Bleach Report captioned: ‘Shaq and Chuck are always going at it,’ with a laughing-crying emoji.

The six-minute reel included a clip of the pair tussling as O’Neal struggled to get Barkley to the ground. After seconds of holding each other in a clinch and spinning, the four-time title-winning center knocked his colleague off balance before laying on top of him for a pin count.

‘Hope they don’t split up,’ a user wrote, citing the hilarious moments Barkley and O’Neal provided fans over the years.

The comment also references the expiration of Turner’s TV rights deal with the NBA at the end of the 2024-2025 season – which could end O’Neal and Barkley’s work relationship.

While the end of the iconic program is not final, ESPN and Amazon Prime are reportedly leading the bidding war to get the NBA’s regular season rights.

The iconic TNT crew featured Ernie Johnson since 1990 and Houston Rockets legend Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith since 1998. Barkley came on board in 2000 before O’Neal completed the foursome in 2011.

Inside the NBA has won 13 Sports Emmy awards since O’Neal joined the crew. Additionally, Barkley won four Emmys as a studio analyst.

Another clip in the compilation showed O’Neal, once again, trying to take Barkley down. This time, he did so in a wrestling ring erected in the studio with AEW star Chris Jericho as a guest.

In the clip, O’Neal takes Barkley’s back and lifts him up before dropping him to the canvas. Diesel climbs to the second rope, attempting to jump onto Barkley, who smartly rolls out of the ring while laughing.

Besides their playful physical interactions, the montage also included their heated verbal arguments.

‘You don’t wanna mess around Chuck,’ O’Neal says in one clip. ‘You have no idea what you’re talking about because you’ve only been to the finals once.’

‘I wasn’t riding Dwyane Wade and Kobe’s coattail,’ The Round Mound of Rebound responded.

‘People question why you’re in the Hall of Fame anyway,’ O’Neal joked. ‘Bum.’

TNT recently capitalized on their unique relationship in a promo for their NBA playoff coverage. In the commercial, O’Neal and Barkley attended couples therapy with Julius Erving as their therapist.

The promo ended with O’Neal and Barkley doing a trust-fall exercise, in which the former center fell forward onto a glass table.
