The Philadelphia Eagles won the big Super Bowl rematch in primetime.
Jason Kelce finally beat his younger brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in an NFL game. Jason and the Eagles scored the final 14 points of the game to beat Kansas City 21-17 in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.
After the game, the Kelce brothers reunited at midfield, where Travis said the win was a late birthday present to his older brother, Jason, the Eagles center who turned 36 earlier this month.
“Late birthday present to you,” Travis, 34, told Jason. “Love you, big guy.”
Kansas City had a huge opportunity to win this game had receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling not dropped a deep Patrick Mahomes pass with 1:44 remaining. But Philly held on to win and move to an NFL-best 9-1.
This Eagles victory was huge in many ways as it keeps a two-game difference in the loss column between them and the Dallas Cowboys who will play on Thanksgiving.
Travis had seven catches for 44 yards and one touchdown — his third straight game with under 60 yards receiving. His fumble in the fourth quarter was a huge factor in the game.
