PATRICK Mahomes could be heard sending a message to Jalen Hurts on the field after the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl win.
Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were routed 40-22 by the Eagles in Super Bowl 59 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday night.

The two star quarterbacks Mahomes and Hurts shared a moment following the Eagles’ second Super Bowl title in franchise history.
After the final whistle, Mahomes and Hurts met each other close to midfield as cameras surrounded the pair.
And Mahomes embraced Hurts and congratulated his opponent.
“Congratulations,” the 29-year-old was heard telling Hurts.

It was the Eagles who got their revenge after their previous Super Bowl appearance against the Chiefs.
Philadelphia got the best of Mahomes, who was sacked six times, threw two interceptions, including a pick-six, and also fumbled in the contest.
He finished the day completing 21 of 32 passes for three touchdowns – all the scores which occurred when the Eagles sat with a comfortable lead.

Mahomes is now 3-2 in Super Bowls.
The 29-year-old got to see Hurts put together a sensational performance, completing 17 of his 22 passing attempts for 211 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception.

The Eagles star also tallied 11 carries for 72 yards and added another score.
At one point, he led his team to a 34-0 lead late in the third quarter.
After the game, Hurts was handed the Super Bowl MVP award.
“I couldn’t have done anything though without the guys around me… we’ve got a special group this year,” the 26-year-old said.

“We’ve been able to learn from the past and bring in some nice new pieces to get us over the hump.”
The Eagles avenged their previous Super Bowl 57 defeat to the Chiefs.
It was defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s first Super Bowl win in his 31 years coaching in the NFL.
He led the defense which caused Mahomes to be pressured 16 times and sacked six times, his most in a game in his career.

Mahomes will hope to return to the Super Bowl next year.
He’s appeared in the big game in five of the last six seasons.
