With Chicago’s last NBA championship being in 1998, which was completed on a historic three-peat with Michael Jordan on the team and Pippen being an important part of that run, fans were disappointed with his tweet and ridiculed the Bulls legend in the comment section. One fan trolled him by using the infamous feud between him and MJ.
“I get why MJ hates him.”
Pippen had left the Bulls after the 1998 season because of contract issues. So, some other fans joined the bandwagon and expressed similar sentiments in the comments section.
“First NBA player with CTE,” a fan said.
“Bulls should have robbed you of more money bro,” another fan said.
“This is why they divorced you Pippen,” another fan said.
One fan listed Scottie Pippen’s achievements and showed concern for his post.
“You’ve got 6 rings, HOF status, and your name cemented in the history books. Why you out here glazing like a rookie, gramps? Maybe Krause had a point all along!”
“This is a contender for worst tweet in history,” another fan said.
The Bulls legend did not heed the negativity and posted his response in the same comment thread.
“Y’all are funny 😂 I’m following my favorite comments,” Pippen commented.
