Just 48 days ago, Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin were teammates on the Iowa women’s basketball basketball team. Now, they’re competing against each other as Clark’s Indiana Fever Fever face Martin’s Las Vegas Aces in a WNBA matchup. The duo were thick as thieves over their time at Iowa and were drafted just 17 spots apart with Clark going No. 1 overall in the WNBA Draft and Martin being selected at No. 18.
Before the pair faced off on the hardwood, they reunited in a heartwarming moment with a hug and a pregame chat. The pictures of the moment are so perfect.
