Charles Barkley speaks his mind. He does not hold back especially when a nonsensical comment floats around. So when a flagrant comment implying serious allegations is out in the open, the Hall of Famer will respond.
Barkley was speaking with Gayle King, Nate Burleson, and Tony Dokoupil on the CBS Mornings show. When King asked Barkley what would have been his reply had New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers accused him of being on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein‘s Island, Barkley responded in a typical Charles Barkley way;
“I’d had punched him in the face. But when you start comparing people with pedophiles, that is dangerous.”
Charles Barkley on Aaron Rodgers
Charley Barkley went on to add that people in the limelight get stories attached to them. It is normal for that as that is what the flip side is to being famous. Barkley insisted that when one does pass comments on national television, especially if it is such a dreaded territory, one should take caution.

Barkley and Nate Burleson agreed that such allegations can be dangerous. They did acknowledge that Jimmy Kimmel’s response to Rodgers’s apparent allegations was well done. But still one should exercise caution.
Aaron Rodgers and the Jimmy Kimmel controversy
NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers recently claimed that talk show host Jimmy Kimmel should be worried when the list of people who were involved with Epstein comes out. This has led to widespread condemnation from the media to fans alike. ESPN came out and apologized to the world for Rodgers’ comments.

Jimmy Kimmel responded to Aaron Rodgers on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live, asserting that the ‘reckless words’ could put his family in danger. Kimmel suggested the matter could go to the courts if Rodgers continued on the accusations. Aaron Rodgers has been barred from appearing on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show going forward.
In hindsight, the accusations are severe enough for the 60-year-old Barkley to respond with aggression. But his reaction is justified and honestly could have only come from him.
