Hailey entered the transfer portal for the second time in a row. She spent three seasons with the LSU Tigers but was unable to live up to the hype.

Her former head coach Kim Mulkey addressed Hailey Van Lith’s transfer at a team banquet following the end of the season.

“Her aspirations were to get drafted this year,” Mulkey said (via NOLA.com). “And she realized, ‘I need another year and I need to go back to a place where I can relax and get back to my normal position.’ And what do you do? You hug her, and you wish her well.”
