Ben Affleck has been spotted with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner amidst swirling rumors that he and his current wife Jennifer Lopez are on the brink of divorce.

Garner was seen at the home of her former spouse, with whom she shares three children, amid speculation that Affleck has moved out of the $60 million marital abode he shares with Lopez. The couple, who tied the knot in July 2022, haven’t been seen together since March 30, fueling talk of trouble in their marriage.

It seems Affleck is now keeping company with his ex-wife, as they were both present to cheer on their son Samuel at a soccer game. Garner was later observed entering the security code at Affleck’s temporary residence.

Further fuelling the divorce rumors, Affleck has been caught leaving his new $100,000-a-month rental sans wedding ring.

The buzz around Ben and Jennifer Lopez’s marital troubles has intensified, with insiders suggesting a divorce may be imminent before their second anniversary. A source disclosed to InTouch magazine: “The writing is on the wall – it’s over. They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”

A separate source recently revealed to Us Weekly that Affleck moved out of the L.A. home he shared with Lopez ‘several weeks ago. ‘ The insider stated: “They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour.”

Jennifer’s penchant for publicizing their relationship, something Ben has previously expressed discomfort with, is partially blamed for the split rumours. Their love story was prominently featured in Jennifer’s recent Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, and their revived romance was the highlight of the $20 million short film This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, which accompanied her new album This Is Me… Now.

The documentary explored the ups and downs of their relationship, with Ben confessing that he initially asked Jennifer to keep their rekindled romance under wraps in 2021. “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media.’ Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask,” Ben remembered.
