JEOPARDY! star Troy Meyer has a lot more to worry about than his recent loss.

The Tournament of Champions contestant became a dad again earlier this month.

“*This Wednesday* Troy is back on Jeopardy! for the Tournament of Champions!” she wrote.

“New clues! New dapper outfit! Because winning 6 games wasn’t enough last year, he had to return!”

“And apparently a shoutout to Baby Lola, who waited until dad came home from taping to make her debut,” Genevieve ended.

Genevieve added photos of Troy on Jeopardy!, who he would be going up against, and a sweet photo commemorating the birth of their child.

It was a picture of a red onesie that had the words “Future Jeopardy! Champion” across the front of it in the show’s font.

This is the second child for Troy and Genevieve.

Troy recently lost the Tournament of Champions to Yogesh Raut and Ben Chan.

Troy won Jeopardy! last season, taking home $214, 802, in just six weeks.

However, that is not the only thing he won on the show.

Genevieve is also a former Jeopardy! player.

She was on the show in 2009 and even competed against her now husband online.

However, the couple met online thorough a message board when she was competing on the game show.

Troy and Genevieve also share a 10-year-old son.

Genevieve lost Jeopardy!, but won $165,000 on The Chase, beating James Holzhauer.

SHOCKING CONNECTION

In 2023, Genevieve told the Tampa, Florida news station, WTSP, that she never thought she would find her husband through the show.

Troy said that what drew her to him was how good she was at the game.

When they first played against each other, Genevieve beat Troy.

During that time, he had just gone through a breakup and Genevieve was in a relationship.

And during that time, they began to message each other.

Genevieve told the New York Times in 2010, “We started talking about the type of art we liked, our daily routines.”

Troy said the whole situation felt weird and his friends thought he was nuts.

He had no idea what Genevieve looked like until her episode of Jeopardy! aired.

They met after she was on the show and clicked within the first 24 hours.
