In a paparazzi clip, people felt Justin Bieber was a bit disrespectful towards wife Hailey. As Bieber exited his car he looked visually annoyed as if he just got done having some sort of meltdown.
As he stomped off he knew his wife was in the car coming right behind him and went on to shut the car door right in her face. Hailey tragically followed him without any pushback and went on to guide him and say “babe I think this is the right way”.
People were sickened for what to many came off as emotionally manipulative behavior. After taking the time to examine this new pristinely packaged product of a “documentary”, Bieber and Baldwin’s power dynamic shone through even with all the push for positivity. With Hailey constantly reassuring him and focusing on his dreams and his desires, where is the time for her? Do her achievements ever get recognized or does Bieber’s superstar ego fall in the way of anything Hailey remotely tries to do.
Seeing Hailey be automatically apologetic after Justin clearly embarrassed her in front of the paparazzi was triggering for some. In a relationship, there doesn’t need to be one person holding the weight of the world on their tiny shoulders, and the other person coming with their gigantic problems. What Bieber should invest in is the best therapy money can buy. He’s going on a tour and promoting his lackluster album probably won’t benefit his marriage, and more importantly, could cause more damage to his mental wellbeing.
What Bieber’s relationships illustrate is the all to known journey of going from the blissful, acid-like trips of having a wonderful partnership to the dark dungeon of pain in a union. A stereotype over most women is the idea that the mysterious bad boy is what we all want. This random ride of lust and passion is what we all need. But, to the contrary most people actually desire stability and a sense of calm. When your young going out to the club every night in search of an adventure with your significant other seems sexy, but soon we all grow tired of it.
Not surprisingly when this news broke with this overplayed clip, the attention returned to Justin’s kryptonite Selena Gomez. Earlier this last month she let it be known that she believed she suffered emotional abuse at the hands of Justin. A Lot of people came to her defense and hailed her brave for coming to grips with something so mentally deteriorating. Others played devil’s advocate and saw Bieber as the victim in that toxic mess. Whatever side you are on the truth is that both people were in the wrong and contributed to that tornado of a relationship.
