Travis Kelce is arguably the best tight end in the NFL, and Taylor Swift is, without a doubt, the world’s biggest pop star. You will get the ultimate power couple when you put two and two together.
Kelce took home the best trophy in sports last season: the Lombardi Trophy, which the Kansas City Chiefs won spectacularly in Super Bowl 58. The Chiefs are also off to a great start in 2024 after beating the Baltimore Ravens 27-20.
Swift, however, has now added to her stacked resume. At the Video Music Awards on Wednesday night, the Era’s Tour singer took home seven awards, including the award for video of the year, something Swifties must be raveling in.
But there is one thing that all fans can take solace in as both NFL fans and Swifties alike praise the pop superstar for thanking the Chiefs superstar tight end in her speech after winning the prestigious award.
Taylor Swift Calls Travis Kelce Her Biggest Support
In the speech, Swift talked about filming the music video for her song Fortnight with country star and rapper Post Malone. She claimed Kelce was there cheering her on every day they filmed.
One fan noticed the crowd was nearly in the singer’s favor, commenting, “The crowd went wild. You can tell the world is so happy for her.” Another fan added that they were crying over the thank you extended to Travis.
Other fans were so excited that Swift finally said Kelce’s name and acknowledged him in a public speech. One fan wrote, “She finally said his name,” while another fan added that Swift knew what she was doing due to the pause after saying his name.
Taylor Swift isn’t set to return to the stage until she rocks Miami at Hard Rock Stadium in late October. The Chiefs have a few more games until then, so odds are Swift will be back returning the favor to her NFL superstar boyfriend.
