Kevin Durant has quite a reputation of engaging with his online critics but things almost got real in real life.

Before the start of the Suns’ game against the Mavericks, Kevin Durant was making his way on the court during pregame when he heard a fan yelling a derogatory word at him.

The fan called him a bitch, which made Durant stop in his tracks and go back to confront the Mavs couple sitting near the front row.

The woman, who seemingly yelled it, then tried to hold out her hand for a greeting but Durant wasn’t having it.

Security eventually separated all parties.

The arena security was going to eject those fans but lucky for them, Durant came back over and told them not to do that.

The Suns are aiming to put an end to the Mavericks‘ six-game winning streak. So far this season, the two teams have faced off twice, with each securing a victory.

The Mavericks are currently one-game behind Phoenix in the Western Conference standings.

Kevin Durant continues to thrive at the age of 35, averaging 28.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 53.8 percent from the field, 44.3 percent from three, and 87.1 percent on free throws.
