Kim Kardashian celebrated her 44th birthday on Monday, October 21, and her celebration was complete with lavish gifts. But one of the more surprising gifts came from her 11-year-old daughter, North — who left an unexpected message inside.
In a video Kardashian shared to her Instagram Story on her birthday, the Skims founder revealed that North gifted a diamond necklace. While the idea of an 11-year-old presenting their mother with a diamond necklace for their birthday is shocking enough, more surprising was the message on the necklace.
“North got me this diamond necklace that says ‘Skibidi Toilet,’ wow,” said Kardashian in the video clip. North then added that the backside of the necklace reads “Love, North,” and said she got her mother the necklace “because you love Skibidi Toilet.”

Skibidi Toilet is a popular YouTube and TikTok series among the Gen-Alpha crowd, which features a man’s face popping out of toilets and urinals.
North has repeatedly proven that she is very well-versed in pop culture. In a conversation with Kardashian for Interview, North shared the icons she wants to emulate for Halloween this year.
“I’m going to be a sailor pirate and a mermaid with my two besties,” North said. “Shout out to them. And I’m going to be Kai [Cenat] and Tyla. I’m going to be Nicki Minaj, and then I’m going to be Princess Peach and Princess Daisy with [sister, Chicago].”
Kardashian, for her part, remained active on her Instagram Story much of Monday, sharing photos featuring friends and family. She also shared photos of things that her other children, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 — all of whom, along with North, she shares with ex-husband Kanye West — gifted her for her special day.
She revealed Saint, Chicago, and Psalm all put together a balloon display for her.

“They made me balloons but with hanging messages and pictures of each of us,” the reality star gushed, revealing that some of the messages read, “Best Mom Ever” and “You Are My Flower.”
