Caitlin Clark had the worst WNBA game of her career on Sunday evening.
A day after the Indiana Fever topped the Chicago Sky at home, they were blown out on the road by the New York Liberty on Sunday night.
Clark had a career-low 3 points in the blowout loss to the Liberty. She was 1 for 10 from the field, including 1 for 7 from the 3-point line, with three turnovers and two personal fouls.
The Fever fell to the Liberty, 104-68, to drop to 2-9 on the regular season. This was the Fever’s 11th game of the season in just 20 days.
“WNBA also needs to fine the person responsible for having the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark play 11 games in 20 days. Meanwhile, the defending champs, Las Vegas Aces, have played six. Absurd,” Frank Isola of “Around the Horn” tweeted.
Clark had to leave the game early on Sunday night, too, as she appeared to be in some pain on the bench, following a collision on a screen.

The Indiana Fever have had some struggles early on this year, though there’s still a long way to go with the 2024 regular season.
