Kylie Jenner fans wince over ‘gross’ detail in background of her sexy new makeup shoot that ‘gives them the ick’

KYLIE Jenner has been slammed for her marketing choices in new photos.

The Hulu star shared an Instagram post in honor of her Kylie Cosmetics brand, but critics were horrified by the shots.

In the post, Kylie, 25, showed off her new drop of the lip product Gloss Drip.

For the photos, the mother of two herself modeled the product, posing in a completely sheer top and pouting while liquid dripped off of an anthurium lily and onto her lips and chest.

Kylie captioned the post: “Three yummy new shades of my award-winning gloss drip just dropped on kyliecosmetics.com.”

On Reddit, however, one of Kylie’s followers blasted the ad in a thread captioned: “Kylie’s new lip kit ad … missing the mark again! Seriously…..who comes up with this marketing!!! Over-sexualized.”

Many others focused on the unusual inclusion of the lily, with one writing: “The euphemistic flower is so random and out of place and is bothering me how obviously plastic it is lol.”

“Gross. These make me uncomfortable,” another agreed.

A third person said: “WTF even is this? Who thinks looking like you’re getting ready to f**k a wet flower is hot?”

A fourth noted: “Those lips look so sore and swollen as well!”

“They look like the before pics for an anti-allergy med ad,” said another social media user.

A final commenter snarked: “Doesn’t look professional unless they hired a tacky xxx rated film director.”

‘MALE GAZE’

While Kylie has been busy promoting her new makeup drop, fans have voiced mixed opinions about the product’s appearance and bold marketing.

Last week, one fan reshared a screenshot of Kylie’s makeup to a popular Kardashian internet forum.

The Reddit user captioned the post with: “I do love Kylie and all… but tell me how her gloss product doesn’t look cheap.”

“I like some of the photos for this promotion! This product does look a little childish and cheap-ish, though,” a second agreed.

A third pointed out: “Looks like a TikTok business.”

A fourth asked: “The marketing is just totally off. I don’t understand the insistence on the constant male gaze aesthetic when the main people who they are selling to are women??”

A fifth responded: “Yes. And the promo photo doesn’t even come close to matching the packaging! The photo is so sexy and sultry, while the packaging looks like something you’d pick up as a pre-teen at Claire’s. It just doesn’t work.”

ALL ABOUT THE POUT

Kylie sparked concern in recent months after fans speculated that she may have gone too far with her alleged plastic surgery.

After an unedited picture of The Kardashians star at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty was released this year, some fans couldn’t help but point out how different she looked from her teenage years and speculated that went under the knife.

One shared the professionally-taken photo of her face from the event on Reddit and wrote: “I feel so sad for her that she permanently ruined her face.”

A fan claimed that Kylie – who admitted to getting lip fillers as a teenager – went under the knife too young.

They posted: “She was just so young! I feel like most women really grow into their features throughout their 20s.”

Critics blasted the shots as 'over-sexualized,' and suggested that the photographer was 'XXX-rated'
