Kylie Jenner Says Kim Kardashian Is Her Favorite Sister 'Right Now' As Both Women Deal With Difficult Breakups

Kylie Jenner is picking favorites.

The 25-year-old makeup mogul and reality TV star sat down with Vanity Fair Italia for a new photoshoot and interview on Wednesday. In a set of sexy shots, Kyle wears a series of high-end outfits. She even goes topless for a couple extremely classy black-and-white snaps. But it’s the accompanying interview that got our attention this time around!

The mag peppered the Kylie Cosmetics exec with all kinds of questions about her life. From her famous sisters, to parenting her two kids Stormi and Aire, to her future business plans, Kylie caught it all from the Italian outlet. Most notably, they queried the sexy momma about her world-famous co-stars on The Kardashians. And they straight-up asked her to pick a fave!!

Instead of avoiding the question, Kylie took it head-on. Of course, she is going through a breakup of her own right now after finally and fully splitting from rapper Travis Scott in recent weeks. To that end, there is one KarJenner sister in particular who has suffered through a very difficult divorce (from Kanye Westand an unfortunate boyfriend breakup (from Pete Davidson) in the last year. Yep! You guessed it. Kylie’s favorite sister (right now) is Kim Kardashian.

The young billionaire explained:

“It changes over time. Right now it’s Kim. Kim has changed so much recently. We are very connected, she is always the first sister I call when I need something. We have been going through a lot of similar experiences lately.”

No kidding…

Kylie went on to admit she actually feels she has the least in common with her closest sister, Kendall Jenner. Of course, the two are full sisters and very close to each other in age, unlike the bond Kylie has with Kim. But nevertheless, the young mogul admitted her interests actually lie far away from older sis Kenny’s vibes:

“Kendall. Without a doubt Kendall. You know what they say, though? Opposites attract. And that’s how it works with us.”

Interesting!

Kylie had much more to say about her beloved sisters, too. When asked by VF about what she’s learned from each one, the maven momma spoke glowingly of Kim, Kendall, Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian:

“So let’s see. Khloé taught me tenderness and the ability to forgive; Kendall, the importance of friendship and unconditional love; Kourtney, the value of health and the need to not be superficial; Kim, strength, and the ability to always tell yourself that you can do it, come what may. Kim is really strong, really resilient.”

The mom of two also beamed when asked about her mom, Kris Jenner. The mag called Kris “a key figure” in Kylie’s “success story,” and the Kylie Skin lead agreed strongly:
“My mother is the strongest woman I know. From an early age she instilled in us the idea that we could do something great. I don’t know how she does it, but she always manages to be perfect, perfect in every moment. As long as I was living at home with her, she was my mom. When I left home, she became my best friend. As far as business is concerned, my mother is my bulldog and my protector. I respect her so much.”

Awww!

In a rare move, the Life of Kylie star addressed her relationship with her father Caitlyn Jenner, as well:
“My father has always been there. At school, at all the plays, at sporting events. She was always there. She taught me one of the most important lessons: to learn to respect yourself, not to be afraid of who you are. It is a fundamental lesson.”

That’s actually very sweet!

And to tie it all together, Kylie wanted to talk a bit about her children. She was very candid at that part of the interview, and opened up about postpartum depression. Admitting that she experienced the very difficult hormonal state after both of her childbirths, Kylie said:

“I have experienced it. Twice. The first time was very difficult, the second was more manageable. I would tell those women not to over-think things and to live all the emotions of that moment to the fullest. Stay inside that moment, even if it is painful. I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same. That’s not true: the hormones, the emotions at that stage are much, much more powerful and bigger than you. My advice is to live through that transition, without fear of the aftermath. The risk is to miss all the most beautiful things of motherhood as well.”

That’s extremely vulnerable and real. Good for her for being so honest about something so many women face.

And yet she wanted to keep things optimistic and aspirational, too. When VF queried Kylie about her beloved children, the reality TV veteran got emotional (in a good way!) about how fast they’re growing up:

“The younger is two years old. The older one is five. I am surprised by their personalities: They already know what they want, they are so determined. When I think of them, I get emotional. Sorry. They are so tender and at the same time so strong. … I try to offer them different choices. I am interested in the idea of imparting to them an education in how to take control and accept responsibility for their choices. I think that is very important.”

Well said!
