The Kardashian clan’s commercial revenue is expanding once more with Kylie Jenner’s Khy. The billionaire is joining her entrepreneur sisters in the sartorial world with the launch of Khy, her very own fashion brand. Jenner first soft-launched the brand on her Instagram on October 24, sitting on a carpeted floor in a black faux-leather trench coat and red Ferragamo pumps. “Meet khy,” read the caption. Jenner tagged Khy’s official account in her post, which racked up tens of thousands of followers in less than 24 hours.

Khy was officially announced on October 25 and, according to WSJ. Magazine, the brand’s debut collection was best described as “the wardrobe of a biker babe during the apocalypse — who happens to have internet access and a Pilates-toned body.” Quite a dynamic image, if we do say so ourselves.

Over the years, Kylie Jenner has been a standout fashion lover. While she notably hated the idea of becoming a model, like her sister Kendall, she’s become a staple part of the fashion echo chamber, going viral for wearing Schiaparelli, Jean Paul Gaultier, and many other luxury fashion brands. More recently, she starred in an Acne Studios campaign, which slowly foreshadowed what clearly is a plan to rule the fashion industry. While this step into a more high-end space is new, Jenner is no stranger to running a fashion brand. The 26-year-old reality television star worked closely with her sister Kendall in Kendall & Kylie, a teen-centered brand sold in stores like Pacsun and Walmart — but this is a different story.

Fronted by Kylie Jenner in partnership with Kris Jenner and Popular Culture’s Jens and Emma Grede, Khy is a new clothing brand that is said to feature wardrobe basics, staples, and investment pieces. The pieces were reportedly inspired by Kylie Jenner’s own personal style, from present and past. Speaking to WSJ Magazine, Jenner described Khy as “King Kylie—who I am at my core,” referring to the infamous nickname she received in the 2010s when her aesthetic ruled Tumblr. The Khy collections will also reflect her changing moods and collaborations with guest designers.

Who was Kylie Jenner’s Khy’s first collaboration?

Khy’s first launch was in collaboration with the Berlin-based gender-neutral brand Namilia, founded by Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl. Namilia is known for its dark, provocative style with politically fueled messaging, which WSJ described as “borderline-pornographic.” Popular items from the brand include their motocross-inspired selections, often spotted on celebrities such as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and the BLACKPINK members. WSJ first reported that the Khy and Namilia collab included “black faux-leather pieces and nylon-and-elastane ‘base layers.”

How many pieces are there in Khy’s first collection?

The first Khy drop featured 12 pieces. We actually got a peek at the styles thanks to a Khy dinner Kylie Jenner hosted ahead of the brand’s launch. We saw pieces from the collection, which range from skin-tight dresses to leather pants and jackets, in action on the streets. According to a press release, Kylie Jenner herself was sporting the Faux Leather Open Back Top ($78) and the Faux Leather Pants ($118). When did Khy’s second drop arrive?

On November 7, just shy of a week after the brand’s launch, it was announced that Khy’s second drop would arrive on November 15. The brand teased the release on Instagram with pictures of blue, white, and black garments on clothing racks, as well as Jenner herself posed in a white puffer jacket and blue tights. The second drop was in collaboration with label Entire Studios and featured mainly puffers and base layers, perfect for the cold months ahead.

When did Khy’s third drop arrive?

Khy’s third drop was set for December 7 at 9AM pacific time. We were in for a treat, especially as the weather was starting to get colder. The third drop included sweatshirts, sweatpants and t-shirts with over-sized and cropped silhouettes in line with the design elements of the other two drops. The pieces were designed for effortless mixing and matching. The color range included red, black and light heather grey. Some of the materials used included fleece and a body-con fabric, according to a press release from the brand.

When did Khy’s fourth drop arrive?

The fourth Khy drop is scheduled for February 28 at 9AM pacific time. It’s centered around day-to-night wear, so this collection will include mainly dresses and sets. To give the pieces a flattering body-con fit, Khy used Sueded Stretch, Sleek Stretch, and Mesh Stretch fabrics to complete this collection. Sizes range from XXS to 4X and prices range from $52 to $98.

How often will Kylie Jenner’s Khy collabs drop?

We don’t know how often new collections will launch in the future, but we can assume it’ll be on a random schedule similar to SKIMS and Good American collection drops. The time between the first and second drop was only two weeks, while the third drop came three weeks after the second.

How much does Kylie Jenner’s Khy cost?

According to WSJ. Magazine, all pieces within the collection are under $200, which is more accessible than what we assumed Jenner would lean into.

What materials does Kylie Jenner’s Khy use?

Khy’s first collection introduced faux-leather pieces — similar to the long black trench coat we see Jenner wearing in the initial Instagram launch photo. It also featured nylon-and-elastane “base layers.”

Khy’s second collection was made out of polyester with a PU coating for the puffers and a mix of cotton and spandex for the basic layers. The collection also featured a style of cargo pants made of polyester, cotton, and polyamide. In the past, Entire Studio’s puffer jackets have been produced from nylon, polyester, and cotton, as well as ethically sourced duck down and feather fill. The basics, listed under their “Uniform” collection, are produced with organic cotton.
