Larsa Pippen, Who Felt Trapped in Marriage to Scottie Pippen, Reveals Life Alongside Marcus Jordan

After being married for 24 years, Larsa Pippen feels like she has finally been let loose. The RHOM star, who completely changed her look after her divorce in 2021 with NBA legend Scottie Pippen, recently revealed how her marriage was not what she had dreamed of. Nevertheless, she has become more open to her fashion options with her 16-years younger boyfriend Marcus Jordan.

Bravo TV released a video on their website showing us how Larsa Pippen has changed over the years. The reality star first joined the franchise back in 2011 when it premiered. When she returned more than a decade later in 2022 as a RHOM star, she was new and divorced. In the video, Larsa Pippen divulges her marriage to the 6x NBA champion.

She hinted that she couldn’t find her true and confident self as a married person. She said, “When I was married I was always, like, stuck in a box.” Larsa also exclaimed what being with a younger partner looks like saying, “And now I feel like I’m like a butterfly that’s been let loose.”

The reality TV star met her boyfriend Marcus Jordan back in 2019 but remained friends for a while. However, later in September 2022, the two were officially linked to each other as a couple. The inseparable couple, despite having a family history on both ends with the iconic Chicago Bulls duo – Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan, found love in their friendship.

“We Found a Ring”: Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s Months-Old Quest Finally Coming to an End?

The two had only been dating for a few months when they appeared in the latest RHOM Season 6. Larsa also mentioned, “Marcus and I have been dating for 10 months. It was a friendship that evolved into more. It wasn’t like let’s set the internet on fire. Let’s just be together.” Larsa said that Marcus knew what he was getting into. However, the two did have some mazes to get out of.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan winning it all

Since Larsa and Marcus both come from illustrious backgrounds, they had to take some time to figure it all out. Some of the issues between the two were their 16-year age gap, differences between the NBA icons Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan, and social media scrutiny. However, as friends, they found deeper common links that got them closer and eventually fired up their relationship.

While the Jordan family may still not be as open about Larsa and Marcus, the two having little moments with their families like Thanksgiving dinners surely shows the strength of their bond. It will be interesting to see the two continue breaking through the barriers, and choosing love. What do you think?
