LeBron James Caught the Craziest Stray After Joe Rogan’s $250 Million Worth Spotify Deal

Joe Rogan has renewed his deal with Spotify for a massive amount of money. However, he could have made at least $100 million more in a different way. Or at least that’s what Patrick Bet-David believes. David recently went viral for saying that he knows of a deal that could have made Rogan way richer and yet, he wouldn’t have taken it.

Rogan is known for his riveting takes and it’s all because of the platform that has hosted The Joe Rogan Experience for years now. Spotify will continue doing so in the future too so why is Rogan staying with them despite having spent enough time and having better options? Is he not choosing the LeBron James way? Here’s more.

Joe Rogan and his deal with Spotify ended this year and many expected Rogan to explore different new ways to keep the podcast going. Some expected him to move to a new platform while others suggested that he might just start some platform exclusive for his podcast.

Now all of that would have meant a whole lot of money for him. However, instead, he just renewed his deal with the streaming giant which cost them about $250 million. According to Bet-David, this figure could have easily been $300 million.

“Joe Rogan gets new Spotify deal worth upto $250 million. I knew of a deal that could have gotten Joe $350 million. . . Spotify knows they have a great deal here, Spotify knows they underpaid. Even though he could have gotten that kinda money, he stays, shows a lot about his character. You don’t wanna be an athlete that plays for 4 different teams.”

“. . . You don’t wanna be the guy that drafted into Cleveland and then you go to Miami and then maybe you go back to Cleveland and then go to LA, not that anybody would ever do something like that. You don’t want to be a player like that because you’re constantly changing teams.” Of course, the player Bet-David is referring to is none other than LeBron James who has played for all three different teams.

Joe Rogan stuck with the UFC in its heyday even though the promotion wasn’t doing great. He was arguably underpaid for his job and still stuck around promoting the MMA game and doing what he does best, being interesting and loyal to the company.

Today, the UFC is miles ahead from the place it started. Bet-David makes a similar point about Rogan’s loyalty to Spotify. He explained that Rogan believes that the streaming giant helped him out when people were pointing fingers at the podcast for its controversial content.

The platform picked up the JRE despite it being a risk and in return, Rogan has decided to stick around and not jump ship for more money. How do you feel about the move? Let us know in the comment section if you find Rogan’s philosophy interesting.
