Liverpool fans are convinced Mo Salah has just dropped biggest bombshell yet on his future

Mohamed Salah got Liverpool fans talking after what he said about his future.

Liverpool fans are convinced Mohamed Salah has dropped the biggest bombshell yet on his future.

Salah starred as Liverpool easily beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

He registered two assists for Luis Diaz before adding his side’s third with a stunning finish in the second-half.

After Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Man United, Salah revealed that this season is his ‘last year’ at the club amid his contract situation.

“You know this is my last year in the club. I just want to enjoy it,” he said on Sky Sports.

On his current deal, which expires next summer, he added: “It’s not up to me but no one has spoken to me at the club.”

Naturally, Salah’s post-match comments sent social media into overdrive as Liverpool fans speculated about his future.

One X user wrote: “The extension has to happen..can’t mess this up.”

A second said: “Get him signed up.”

A third added: “Somebody better start talking soon @LFC.”

A fourth argued: “We all know what he meant. He’s on his last year at the club in terms of his contract.”

Another commented: “Just dropped that bombshell like it was nothing.”

Salah, 32, has been at Anfield since the summer of 2017 following his transfer from AS Roma in a deal worth £43 million.

He has scored an incredible 214 goals across all competitions for Liverpool, winning the Premier League and Champions League, among other titles, during his prolific spell at the club.

And the Egyptian is on course for another stellar campaign, having already scored three goals in their opening three leagues this season.

Salah, who’s the club’s highest-earning player, has, however, been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Last year, Liverpool rejected a whopping £150 million bid for their star player from Al Ittihad.
