Will she or won’t she? Taylor Swift fans are clamoring to know whether the pop star will be at the Chiefs-Chargers game supporting Travis Kelce on Sunday. Jan. 7. Let’s take a closer look at the odds.

"I've never been a man of words," Kelce said. "Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f***ing mind-blowing. I'm learning every day."

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Los Angeles Chargers for an away game at SoFi Stadium. Because Swift has attended the last several Chiefs games to watch her NFL tight end beau in action, Swifties hope to see her cheer him on again.

Unfortunately, Tayvis shippers might be disappointed this time around—because the 2024 Golden Globe Awards also takes place on Jan. 7.

Swift is up for a Golden Globe in a new category, Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, for her Eras Tour movie. Other films in the running include Barbie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, John Wick: Chapter 4, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Super Mario Bros Movie. Although this is her fifth nomination, it’s her first outside the Best Original Song category.

Here’s the thing: Both the Chief game and the Golden Globes take place in Los Angeles on Sunday. However, the timing makes Swift’s odds of attending the NFL face-off slim to none.

Kelce’s team kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET while the Golden Globes begin at 8 p.m. ET—so while it may technically be possible for Swift to attend both events, it’s not incredibly practical. (Unless she goes in full glam to the game and is immediately whisked away via private helicopter to walk the red carpet.)

The real question is: Would the “Cruel Summer” singer pass up a chance to accept her first Golden Globe win in order to cheer on her NFL boyfriend? It looks like we’ll have to wait and find out!
