Losing in the first round of the playoffs is a bitter pill to swallow for anyone, and it seemed to weigh a lot on Mike Tomlin.

A visibly despondent Mike Tomlin addressed the media after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost 31-17 to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round, but he only wanted to talk about the game.

Tomlin addressed some aspects of the game when asked, but one question had him ready to end the presser.

ESPN’s Brooke Pryor started to ask Tomlin about his contract, to which Tomlin simply walked away from the podium before she could finish.

Tomlin now heads into the final year of his contract and there is some uncertainty if the front office will give him an extension or allow him to play out the final season.

The Steelers lost their fifth straight playoff game; the franchise’s most recent postseason victory was seven years ago.

Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes and scored on a franchise playoff-record 52-yard touchdown run, and the Buffalo Bills beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-17 on Monday in an AFC wild-card playoff game that was postponed one day due to bad weather.

The second-seeded Bills advance to host Patrick Mahomes and the No. 3 seed Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round on Sunday night.
