Iron Mike is on a warpath with streaming service Hulu, who have allegedly produced a series on his life without his consent, nor without offering him a modicum of compensation.
Taking to social media Friday evening, and again on Saturday, Tyson embarked on a verbal undressing of Hulu, accusing them of creating a ‘slave master take over story’ of his life.
Tyson’s first post on the matter came via Instagram, thanking his friend and UFC president, Dana White for his refusal to be involved in Mike.
‘Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life,’ he explained.
‘He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity.
‘I’ll never forget what he did for me just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me.’

The Hulu series centers around Tyson’s (right) life both inside and outside the boxing ring
Tyson followed it up with a series of posts across both Twitter and Instagram, with one post making reference to a biblical battle.
‘Hulu stole my story. They’re Goliath and I’m David. Heads will roll for this.
‘Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022.
‘They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.’

Tyson reiterated the point over Twitter, adding: ‘Hey @hulu I’m not a n****r you can sell on the auction block.

Mauricio Sulaiman, current president of the WBC, and son of former WBC president Jose — who Tyson once said was ‘like a father’ to him — accused Hulu of ‘misleading’ the World Boxing Council.
Sulaiman tweeted; ‘a fighter who was like a son to my father is Mike Tyson I just spoke to him I’m so upset to learn that his upcoming series were [sic] produced without his involvement and consent @theWBCBoxing was mislead by @Hulu and we provided belts for production Mike Tyson Is a legend RESPECT.’

The series details Tyson’s life inside and outside the ring, including several controversies
Tyson replied to Sulaiman, saying ‘someone should get fired from Hulu. Producers were lying to my friends saying I supported the unauthorized series about my life.’
The trailer for Mike was released in July, with the set-to-be released eight-part series described as ‘an unauthorized and no-holds-barred look at the life of Mike Tyson.’
The series’ creators were those who were also responsible for the biopic on former American figure skater Tonya Harding, eponymously called I, Tonya.
Hulu are yet to comment publicly on Tyson’s statements.
