Chicago Blackhawks Connor Bedard has awkward interaction before facing off vs Slovakia at world championship

It was a funny scene prior to puck drop when Team Canada was preparing to face off against Slovakia as Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard intimidates the entire Slovakian team with his presence.

Several Slovakian players appeared in shock and disbelief as Bedard just stood beside them even with a calm demeanour along the wall as he waited patiently for the Slovakians to go to the ice. This was a pivotal game for both teams as the winner would head to the semifinals.

Team Canada won the game 6-3 while showing depth across the lineup as the star-studded team made quick work of the Slovakians and silenced any naysayers towards them as several pundits felt this team could go out in that elimination round.

Bedard was relegated to the 13th forward prior to this game which led him to refine his game and managed a point scored. He also showed Head Coach Andre Tourigny that he could throw his weight and be a physical presence.

His game play after the first three in the tournament haven’t been great and was silenced for four games until the quarter finals.

The semifinals have yet to be determined but they will be taking place on Saturday May 25th at 8:20 AM eastern and 12:20 PM eastern.
