“NBC Hates This Country’s Guts”: Fans Blast NBC For Their Controversial Decision Before Rams-Eagles Playoff Game /d

Fans are really irate at NBC over their decision before the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams went head-to-head inside Lincoln Financial Field.

Before both teams went head to head, The Star-Spangled Banner was being played, but unfortunately, nobody watching the game at home would see it.

Earlier this month, ESPN caught major backlash for not showing the anthem before the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, which was less than 24 hours after the terror truck attack that claimed the lives of fourteen people on Bourbon Street.

This time, many fans expected the network to play it since Los Angeles is playing amid wildfire still ravishing the area that has claimed the lives of dozens of people while destroying everything in its path.

There has been no official word from the Eagles of who performed the national anthem, but NBC still got blasted for their decision.

“THAT is why our family boycotts all NBC programming. No National Anthem before a major football game? @nbc @comcast hate America,” one fan said.

“NBC doesn’t show national anthem at eagles game because that’s who they are,” another fan added.

“@nbc what the heck – no anthem before the Eagles Rams game!!!!! Shameful. #national anthem,” another fan stated.

“NBC Sports boldly opted against airing the national anthem before Sunday’s NFL playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and visiting Los Angeles Rams. IF YOU ARE WATCHING, TURN IT OFF NOW OR TAKE A BIG MAGIC MARKER AND WRITE ASSHOLE ACROSS YOUR FOREHEAD!!” a fourth fan commented.

“Why are they playing the FOX anthem on NBC?” one final fan asked.

Eagles And Rams Playing For The Right To Meet The Commanders

The Detroit Lions earned the NFC’s No. 1 seed for the 2025 NFL playoffs and home-field advantage. The Washington Commanders ended all of that after they shockingly defeated them.

Washington’s victory allowed it to get to the NFC championship game for the first time since the 1991 playoffs, and now they will face either the Eagles or Rams.

With the Lions out, the No. 2-seed Philadelphia Eagles now have the conference’s home-field advantage.
