Jerome Bettis Jr. son of former NFL running back Jerome Bettis, is going viral this week.

When you think of some of the greatest Notre Dame players of all time, former Irish running back Jerome Bettis is usually pretty high on the list.

In the 2025 class, Irish fans are likely to be cheering for that same name, but the junior version.

Woodward Academy wide receiver Jerome Bettis Jr. is trying to make a name for himself while having an already famous name.

This week, he is going viral over his inane highlights while in high school.

Here is how social media is responding:

Jerome Bettis was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.

He is one of the most iconic running backs of the last 20 years. Bettis played for 13 seasons, his final 10 with the Steelers, but even before he got to Pittsburgh, he showed why he was the No. 10 overall pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 1993.

In eight of his first nine seasons, he rushed for at least 1,000 yards. Once he was traded to the Steelers, he would explode. He finished his career with 13,662 yards and 91 touchdowns.

Notre Dame has been the assumed leader for Bettis Jr. for some time now and that hasn’t changed.

The 6-2, 175-pound pass catcher currently holds offers from the Irish, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Missouri, NC State, Duke, Purdue, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and UCF among several others.
