Olivia Culpo, the fiancée of San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey, cried tears of joy from a luxury suite as the team clinched a spot in Super Bowl LVIII with a victory over the Detroit Lions.

It does not look like she will be crying those same tears in another suite for the next game.

Culpo has been in attendance at most of McCaffrey’s games this season and celebrated the NFC Championship victory with McCaffrey on the field and in the locker room.

Super Bowl 58 is being held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and just like every Super Bowl before it, the prices to attend are outrageous. They are so high that the 49ers running back and his fiance, Olivia Culpo, cannot afford to get a suite.

In the latest installment of her and Ashley Adamson’s “Your Mom” podcast, Lisa McCaffrey explained that she won’t be watching her son play in his first Super Bowl because of the suite prices:

“We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it,” Lisa said. “Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia,” who is a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and actress.

“So, we’re not in a suite, I’ll tell you that right now,” Lisa said.

She added she and her family watched the younger McCaffrey’s games in suites throughout the regular season and the playoffs.

Here is how fans took those comments:

McCaffrey is set to make $11.8 million in 2024 and $12 million in 2025 on his current deal with San Francisco.

San Francisco trailed Detroit 24-7 at halftime but scored 17 unanswered points in the third quarter to turn the game around. McCaffrey recorded two touchdowns and totaled 132 yards in that comeback win.

Christian and his father, Ed, have an opportunity to make history this year, as they would be just the second father-son duo in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with the same franchise according to ESPN.

The San Francisco 49ers will face the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 58 on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.
