Buffalo Bills fans are not happy with a piece of news that came out this week regarding the Bills AFC Divisional round playoff game vs. Kansas City Chiefs.

Bills fans are full of dread after the NFL announced referee assignments for the Divisional playoff games.

Referee Shawn Hochuli will work the Chiefs’ game Sunday against the Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Hochuli has been an NFL official since 2014 and is in his sixth season as a referee. he already has a reputation and not many of them are good when it comes to the Bills. His last three called Chiefs games have come in victory for them, including a win over the Jaguars in last season’s AFC Divisional playoff game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Hochuli, the son of legendary official Ed Hochuli, became a lead referee in 2018 and the Chiefs have experienced success when he’s called their games.

The team is 8-2 with Hochuli and 2-0 in divisional games overall.

The Buffalo Bills are 1-3.

This upcoming game will be Patrick Mahomes’ first road playoff game as the Chiefs seek a second consecutive Super Bowl.

The Bills host the Kansas City Chiefs at Highmark Stadium this Sunday at 6:30 pm. It will wrap up the divisional round for the NFL.
