The Chiefs prepare to take on the surging Baltimore Ravens for the AFC Championship. The Chiefs’ owner, Clark Hunt’s daughter, shared the Chiefs’ feat like a boss lady in an X post that’s all about “football is family”.

Also crowned as the Kansas City Chiefs Most Valuable Personality,  the 25-year-old has become a fixture at Chiefs games, cheering on the team, taking photos, and attending press conferences. But this post is a real gesture towards those who protect the nation and also resonates with the spirit of football.

On Red Friday, Gracie Hunt was captured wearing a custom Chiefs’ jacket worth $897. The jacket is also available for purchase on the NFL Shop. Donned in Red, she shared a touching message on X, celebrating Kansas City Chiefs’ 6th straight journey to the AFC Championship.

 

“Let’s #UNITE in gratitude, applauding our team’s remarkable 6th straight journey to the AFC Championship”, she wrote reminding the Chiefs Kingdom. The internet personality expressed how the Chiefs resonate with the spirit of Red Friday, and are known for sailing through the tough road.

“Defying the doubters and embracing the power of self-belief and that football is family”, she continued in the post. And even though the journey to get here was not as easy for the Chiefs, the Chiefs are more focused on the big prize ahead.

This will be the 5th time the Ravens will be competing for the AFC title. While this is the 6th consecutive time, the Chiefs can get their hands on the AFC Championship. And even though the history is on the Chiefs’ side, it is going to be a tough battle. While Mahomes is here to collect the rings, Lamar Jackson declared that he is here to win the Super Bowl the night he was drafted.

The Chiefs lead the series 7-5 against the Ravens. But the last time they clashed in 2021, it was the Ravens who won the contest. Their only previous playoff battle was in the wild-card round of 2011, that too was secured by the Ravens. The National Weather Service predicts that the weather in Baltimore could have an impact this weekend. Forecasts call for temps in the 40s with “damp conditions“, which may make scoring difficult.

What lies ahead is a much-anticipated spectacle of a riveting rivalry, a history steeped in unforgettable plays. Ravens vs. Chiefs kick off at 8:00 p.m. UK/ 3:00 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore on 28 January, Sunday.
