But now there is a rumor doing rounds that the two may have shared an even more special moment together before the celebrations. This party took place just after the Chiefs defeated the Bengals in Week 17 to celebrate New Year more merrily. It is rumored that the two got secretly engaged!

Swift and Kelce publicly appeared in the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Week 3 game. However, there were rumors that the two were in love by that time. But, later, the tight end and the pop icon opened up about their relationship, confirming that they were together even before Tay-Tay’s first Arrowhead appearance. And now, the rumors are again taking over the headlines due to their alleged engagement rumors.

According to a report posted by the “Deuxmoi“podcast on Instagram, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got secretly engaged on New Year’s Eve, December 31, in Kansas City. One of the podcast hosts mentioned, “I don’t know if I necessarily believe it. But if people really want to know what I heard this is f***ing it. Somebody tells me, pretty sure Taylor and Travis got engaged on 12/31. Did it, just the two of them alone before they headed to that party where they were photographed.”

However, the host also mentioned that these words are from the reports they got and cannot confirm whether they are true. She added, “So that’s what I heard. Do I believe that? Well, it’s coming from somebody who I trust, but I don’t know if I believe that information.”

The couple hasn’t made anything official yet. Besides that, there were reports, that Swift and Kelce reportedly plan to get engaged either in the summer or on their first anniversary. But even that is disputed according to a report by TMZ.

Page Six had reported on January 11 that the celebrity couple was planning to get engaged this summer. However, TMZ then reported that sources close to Kelce and Swift said “there’s absolutely no engagement in the works between” the two of them.

The outlet also mentioned some members of their inner circles see Taylor and Kelce still in a honeymoon phase and it’s just too early to tell if they will move past the dating stage. With Travis Kelce eyeing the Super Bowl and Swift’s Eras tour in February, both will have a lot on their plates before they make any major announcements about their relationship.
