AFTER two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Tony Brown has hit free agency.

The veteran cornerback, 28, was waived on Monday after the Colts’ season came to an end.

An undrafted free agent out of Alabama in 2018, Brown headed for the Los Angeles Chargers before being cut ahead of the regular season.

He subsequently signed for the Green Bay Packers where he’d go on to spend the next two seasons.

Stints with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Las Vegas Raiders followed, before Brown headed to Indiana in March 2022.

In two seasons with the Colts, Brown made 28 appearances, finishing with one defended pass, one interception, one forced fumble, and ten tackles.

His tenure in Indianapolis came to a disappointing ending, missing the last four games of the season after being suspended for “conduct detrimental to the team,” as per ESPN.

Wideout Isaiah McKenzie was also suspended.

Exactly what they were suspended for was not made public.

However, the report claimed that a source had informed them that “severe punishment was warranted” for their actions.

McKenzie currently remains on the Colts’ roster.

Along with Brown’s release, the team announced that they had signed reserve contracts with Austin Ajiake, Liam Anderson, Tyrie Cleveland, Marcel Dabo, Ethan Fernea, Arlington Hambright, Jordan Murray, Zavier Scott, and Eric Tomlinson.

They also signed Darrell Baker Jr., Trevor Denbow, Cameron McGrone, and Segun Olubi to one-year extensions.

Brown will now be on the lookout for his sixth team in as many years.

To date, he has earned over $3.8 million in the NFL.

Brown was suspended for the final three games of the season by the team
