Saturday was a big moment for Pittsburgh Pirates fans everywhere, as they finally got to see their top prospect, Paul Skenes, do his thing from the mound. And it was awfully impressive, to say the least.

Skenes made his mark during his MLB debut against the Chicago Cubs. Although he only managed to pitch four innings, he showed everyone why he was the first overall pick in the 2023 draft. The 21-year-old struck out seven batters while allowing three six hits and three earned runs in a 10-9 victory. But he wasn’t the only one making a statement at PNC Park on this Saturday afternoon.

Also in the building for the highly-anticipated event was Skenes’ girlfriend, LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne. And she was dropping jaws with her stunning outfit to support her man.

Sportsnet Pittsburgh also caught up with the social media sensation to ask her about the incredible occasion and how the couple prepared for the big event.

“I have so many amazing memories with him, but I know how hard he’s worked for this moment, and all the hours,” she told the reporter. “So this is probably one of my favorite moments I’ve ever seen.“

Paul Skenes came into his MLB debut with a ton of hype, and he appeared to deliver. Viewers were especially captivated by his fastball, as the 6-foot-6 pitcher continuously topped 100mph on the radar gun.

While his 6.75 ERA may not look great on paper, Skenes’ showed everyone why there’s been so much excitement around the former LSU Tiger. If he continues to impress like he did during his debut, you can expect to see a lot more of him AND Olivia Dunne going forward.
