BREAKING: Caitlin Clark REVEALS MASSIVE PLANS After WNBA Retirement—Fans NEVER Saw This Coming! (PO)

Caitlin Clark is coming off an incredible rookie campaign with the Indiana Fever — one that, among other amazing things, saw her set the WNBA single-game assists record (19).

However, despite the fact that the 22-year-old is just getting started, Clark has already given a lot of thought to what she plans to do once her basketball career comes to an end. After all, the former Iowa superstar is well aware of the fact that this gig won’t last forever.

In a recent interview for TIME Magazine, Clark shed some light on her post-WNBA plans. As it turns out, it involves potentially owning her own sports team and/or opening her own restaurant.

“Hopefully, once basketball ends, I can still find things that I’m really passionate about and can do,” she said. “Hopefully, be an owner of a sports team one day or open a restaurant.

“I don’t know. Something fun. A little less stressful maybe. Maybe a coffee shop or something. I don’t know. I drink too much coffee, so maybe I could do that.”

At this point, Clark is already making moves off the court. While she hasn’t started working on her dream coffee shop — at least that we know of — the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has already taken the necessary first steps to pursue her other goal.

Just recently, it was announced that Clark had joined an investment group that placed a bid to bring a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team to the city of Cincinnati. The investment group is being led by the owner of the FC Cincinnati of the MLS.

While it was not revealed how much Clark invested, it was reported that the bid could reach up to $100 million for the franchise fee alone.

For now, Clark has a lot of time before she even considers retirement. It’s good to know that the Des Moines, Iowa, native is already thinking ahead, but the truth of the matter is that basketball still remains her top priority.

Clark has a few months left before the new WNBA season starts in May, and there’s no denying that big things are expected from her in Year 2 and beyond.
