Patrick Mahomes and Pam Oliver during interview
The Kansas City Chiefs are finding life very hard in 2023 as the calendar gets ready to switch to another year.

The defending Super Bowl champions have played four times in December and have just one win as the playoffs creep closer. Their only victory was a road win against the New England Patriots on December 17th.

Speaking of that game, controversy erupted over it and it had something to do with an interview with Patrick Mahomes.

Pam Oliver interviewed the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, but fans couldn’t help but notice that he failed to wish her happy holidays just days before Christmas.

Oliver is one of the most respected NFL sideline reporters, so fans were not happy with this interaction.

The Chiefs pulled away to beat the Patriots 27-17 last Sunday behind Patrick Mahomes’ 305 passing yards and two touchdown passes.

However, the good times wouldn’t last as the team would lose on Christmas to the Las Vegas Raiders. Unfortunately, this terrible month will not end fast enough as the team will one last game in 2023 on December 31st at Arrowhead Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals.
