Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes explained what it was like meeting Taylor Swift at an afterparty following Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium, but is clearly not going to answer any more questions about teammate Travis Kelce’s love life.

Mahomes, 28, described Swift as “good people” during a press conference on Wednesday. He quickly shut down any further questions regarding the tight end’s budding romance.

I met her. She’s really cool. Good people,” Mahomes said. “But, like Travis said, I’m gonna let them have their privacy and just keep it moving.”

Swift, 33, went viral over her energetic celebration when Travis score a touchdown on Chicago. She was sitting with his mother, Donna Kelce, in a sky box.

Mahomes admitted after the game that he felt a bit of pressure to make Swifties happy by making sure Travis scored a TD.

Travis, 33, drove Swift to a restaurant in a convertible car after the win and the pop icon reportedly paid every patron’s tab before clearing out the venue for themselves.

They then attended the afterparty, where Swift was seen wrapping her arm around him, another clear sign they are taking things seriously.

Travis spoke about his new relationship with Swift during the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, but now wants people to respect her privacy.

While many NFL fans and Swifties alike were ecstaticc about their relationship, Swift’s self-proclaimed biggest fan does not like Travis.
