‘Perv’ Male Reporter From Caitlin Clark’s Press Conference Is Now Being Exposed For His Disgusting Old Tweets About S3x And Women (PO)

The Indiana Fever reporter who was dragged for a bizarre conversation with Caitlin Clark opened up a whole can of new problems for himself.

Gregg Doyel of the Indianapolis Star got into a cringeworthy exchange with 2024 No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark during her introductory press conference with the WNBA’s Indiana Fever on Wednesday. Before asking his question, the sports columnist made a hand-heart gesture to Clark and then had an awkward interaction.

“You like that?” Clark asked, to which Doyel responded, “I like that you’re here.”

Clark made it known that she makes that gesture toward her family. Then Doyel made things incredibly awkward.

“OK, well, start doing it to me and we’ll get along just fine,” he replied.

His interaction led to people calling for his job online, and he delivered an apology and then wrote another article with another apology.

Because he was trending online, some WNBA fans took things even further and searched his X timeline to see if they could uncover more damning things to possibly get him fired. Their search unearthed a few tweets Doyle had about sex, women, and LeBron James.

Whatever Doyel’s intentions, he seemingly made a young woman feel uncomfortable and made himself the center of the story on a day that should’ve only been about Caitlin Clark as she embarks on her new professional basketball journey. Now, because of his actions, he is being exposed and fans want him out of a job.

Hours after her press conference, it was announced that Caitlin Clark is about to sign a $10 million+ deal with Nike that will also be given her own signature Nike shoe, per TheAthletic.com.

The former Iowa Hawkeye also received offers from Under Armour and Adidas, but she ultimately decided to take her talents to Nike. There is already some familiarity there, as Clark had a previous deal with Nike while in college, but it ended once the women’s college basketball season did.
