NFL fans are convinced that the script for Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans next year has already been leaked.
Throughout the 2023 NFL season, many fans were convinced that a “script” for Super Bowl 58 last season had been prematurely leaked. You may recall the Super Bowl logo conspiracy theory that was immediately debunked once the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
Reddit user IWATJ16 posted a photo of a “script” for Super Bowl 59 which will be played at the New Orleans Saints’ home venue of the Caesars Superdome on Feb. 9, 2025. Interestingly, this script has the Jacksonville Jaguars beating Caleb Williams’ Chicago Bears 34-31 to secure the franchise’s first Super Bowl:
Having posted that “script” on the NFL Memes’ Reddit page, there was a plethora of hysterical reactions from the NFL community:
No rookie quarterback in NFL history has ever reached the big dance as a starter, though Ben Roethlisberger (2004 with the Pittsburgh Steelers), Joe Flacco (2008 with the Baltimore Ravens) and Mark Sanchez (2009 with the New York Jets) were awfully close.
This Super Bowl 59 Matchup Is Obviously Unlikely To Happen
The Bears have had a successful offseason with the arrivals of Keenan Allen and D’Andre Swift to complement Caleb Williams, but it’s hard to envision Chicago making the jump to contender in 2024.
This team still has flaws on defense and on the offensive line, and they still have to deal with the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions in the NFC North. That’s before mentioning other NFC contenders like the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles.
As for the Jaguars, there’s plenty of work to do if they’re to rebound from a disappointing 9-8 season that saw them miss the playoffs in 2023. At this time, it’s hard to imagine that they’d outlast the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets in the AFC.
