It’s hard to believe that Taylor Swift is nearing the end of her immensely successful Eras Tour, but after performing around the globe since March 2023, the singer is about to finally kick off the tour’s last leg. We’ve already gotten a concert film of the three hour-plus show, and now Swift is commemorating this chapter of her life with the aptly titled The Official Eras Tour Book. Here’s everything you need to know about Swift’s latest announcement and release, and how to get your hands on it before it inevitably sells out.

What inside the The Official Eras Tour Book?
Taylor Swift revealed the news about the book on Good Morning America on Tuesday, October 15 and shortly after posted the announcement on her Instagram. “This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way,” she explained.
The book is a whopping 256 pages and packed with more than 500 photos from the long-running show. According to Swift, The Official Eras Tour Book will be “filled with [her] own personal reflections” and “never-before-seen behind the scenes photos.” The book will also include exclusive rehearsal pics, performance photos from every era on tour, instruments, costumes, set pieces, and designer sketches, and notes from Swift herself. (Do you think we’ll get a few pics of Travis Kelce during his TTPD surprise appearance?)
“Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour,” Swift writes in the book, according to a Target press release. “Thank you to the fans who came to this show. You were what made The Eras Tour what it became.” The Official Eras Tour Book will be available to purchase for $39.99.
What’s The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology?
Surprise! Taylor Swift simultaneously announced the upcoming releases of both The Official Eras Tour Book and The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, a collection of 35 tracks — each record she’s released as variants since the initial album’s release in April 2024 plus four acoustic bonus songs — available on both CD and vinyl exclusively at Target for the first time ever. The vinyl album will also include a never-before-seen poster of Swift and include four translucent marbled LPs; the vinyl will cost $59.99 while the CD will retail for $17.99.
When does The Official Eras Tour Book and The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology come out?
The Official Eras Tour Book and The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology will be available just in time for the holidays, releasing exclusively at Target on Friday, November 29th, 2024. Both collector’s items will be available for purchase exclusively in Target stores on Black Friday and more widely available on the Target app and Target.com starting Saturday, November 30.
Are there easter eggs I missed?
Is it really a Taylor Swift announcement if there were no easter eggs? Swift’s penchant for numerology addition is present in this announcement, as the number of pages in the book (2+5+6), the book’s release date (1+1+2+9), and the date of the announcement (10/15/24, 1+0+1+5+2+4) all equal her signature number 13.
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that in the promotional video for the book, the pages start to slow only at the Reputation era section, which has long been speculated to be the next re-recorded album Swift will announce. “Reeaally loving that the page turning slows to a stop at the reputation era and it basically zooms in on the details …. this is a taylor swift easter egg if i’ve ever seen one,” said one user. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
