Ivan Toney is among the best-paid English players in the world following his move to Al Ahli.
Ivan Toney’s move to the Saudi Pro League has propelled him into the top 10 highest paid English players in the world, but who else is on the list?
Earlier this week Ivan Toney finally left Brentford after months of speculation and links to Premier League sides including Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Instead of joining one of those giants though, the 28-year-old striker joined Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli after Brentford accepted an offer of £40 million.

Toney, who featured for England at Euro 2024 but has not been included in Lee Carsley’s first Three Lions squad, will reportedly earn a tax-free weekly salary of around £400,000.
However, that huge pay packet isn’t quite big enough to make him the highest-paid English footballer in the world.
That title belongs to England captain Harry Kane, who reportedly earns around £406,000 per week at Bayern Munich.
The striker completed a £100m move from Tottenham to Bayern last summer in order to win silverware, although he ended his debut campaign empty-handed.
Toney’s mega-wage in Saudi Arabia puts him ahead of Jude Bellingham in the ranking, with the 21-year-old midfielder earning around £340,000 per week at European champions Real Madrid.

Raheem Sterling’s demise at Chelsea was the story of the last week of the transfer window, with the £325,000 per week attacker frozen out by new manager Enzo Maresca.
The 29-year-old secured a deadline day loan move to Arsenal, although Chelsea will pay the bulk of his wages.
Rounding out the top six are Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish, who both earn £300,000 a week at Manchester United and Manchester City respectively.
The full list of the highest paid English players in the world is as follows:
Harry Kane: £406,000 p/w
