KATE Middleton and Prince William will be preparing for some quality time with their three kids, as George, Charlotte and Louis break up for their Easter holidays.

Today, the royal kids, who attend the £7,000-a-term Lambrook School in Berkshire, will finish their spring term at school.

Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, aren’t due to return back to school until April 17 so will have a long break with their parents.

The Princess of Wales is currently recovering from her planned abdominal surgery, which took place in January, and so will have some extended time with her family during this period.

This follows the royal mum-of-three being seen smiling as she enjoyed a relaxed shopping trip with Prince William at the Windsor Farm Shop this week.

Typically the family spend the break at their 10-bedroom country mansion, Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

However, the family could choose to go there after the Easter church service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Usually they attend the religious service, along with other senior royals including King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Other family members such as Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their kids usually go to the service too.

Last year Prince Louis made his debut at the service and clutched Kate’s hand upon arrival.

If Kate and William take their kids away from their Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor for Norfolk, they could enjoy a greater degree of privacy as Kate recovers.

Along with their family dog, black cocker spaniel Orla, George, Charlotte and Louis have a host of animals at Anmer Hall.

Royal editor Ingrid Seward told Fabulous: “Their home, Anmer Hall has every amenity imaginable and is a small animal haven including guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and chickens.

“Then there is the pony Charlotte was given for her 7th birthday in 2022.

“It is small enough to be transported relatively easily between the Royal Mews at Windsor where all the royal children’s ponies are kept and the stables at Sandringham.”

Anmer Hall was originally built in 1802 and was given as a lavish wedding present from the Queen to William and Kate after they tied the knot in 2011.

KENSINGTON Palace released a statement in January after Kate had undergone surgery.

Sources made it clear Kate would be out of action until at least Easter.

The palace said: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.

“She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.

“Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.

“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements.

“She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”

Anmer Hall is located on the grounds of the sprawling, 20,000-acre Sandringham Estate, which means there is plenty of space for the youngsters to run around.

A source told Fabulous: “Climbing frames, a climbing wall and swings are a big part of the family’s outdoor activity scene.

“Birdwatching with binoculars is another favourite of the kids.”

Ingrid added: “They also have a tennis court and every amenity they can possibly have including lots of local friends.”

Perhaps Princess Charlotte will also kick around a football with her brothers, after sending a message to the England Lionesses alongside dad Prince William ahead of the victorious Euro final.

She showed off her footie skills back in 2019 as she played with Prince George at the polo.

Anmer Hall has its own swimming pool, which is typically opened for use in April.While Kate is understandably “taking it easy”, there are plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy with Prince William.

Ingrid continued: “This year both parents are around as William has taken time off from royal duties for a week to run things at home.

“When Kate is resting – which she has to do – they can bike around the Sandringham estate or go to the small nearby beaches.

“Having the children entertained outdoors means Kate can relax and then bake some of their favourite cakes.

“The children have more fun at Anmer Hall than anywhere else.”
