The Indiana Fever had one of the most interesting victories of the season against the Phoenix Mercury as they nearly blew a huge lead in the fourth quarter. Fever head coach Christie Sides has already received a plethora of negativity after another poor performance. This includes an outburst from Caitlin Clark after a very frustrating second half.
While Clark was frustrated primarily due to the Fever’s blown lead and Sides’ poor coaching, a fan on Twitter may have spotted that she was frustrated for another reason. This fan noticed Clark’s weird mannerisms on her face, which has led many to believe she could have been having one of her headaches.
While this hasn’t been confirmed, it wouldn’t be surprising. It would also make her emotional outburst even more valid, as she would have had to fight through a headache to maintain a lead that shouldn’t have been lost in the first place. However, hopefully this wasn’t the case, and she was able to celebrate the victory despite the rocky game.
