It seems like personal tragedy has yet again knocked on the doors of Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes. After asking for prayers all year for her father’s good health, Randi is back on her divine trail, seeking prayer for Randi Martin’s health. And this time, she isn’t just asking for prayers. Randi has declared war on those who are presumably hating on her family.
Before sending a fiery message to her haters, Randi shared an old picture of herself with her father. That vintage picture in her Instagram stories had Randi Martin sitting on a couch with her daughters, Randi and Lori Deal, and son, Joey Martin. They were all hugging each other, showcasing the bond they shared with her father. Although that picture depicted a heartwarming moment, the caption was the one that drew everyone’s attention.
Randi urgently pleaded with her fans to “Keep my father in your prayers.” Now, this is a huge surprise for anyone who keeps track of Mama Mahomes’ personal updates. On her next Ig story update, Mahomes took a jibe at her probable haters by sharing a motivational video that talked about protecting families. And she didn’t just repost that video; as Randi wrote, “It’s a war you’re gonna have #prayingmom.”
Well, she also left a comment on that pep talk that seemingly inspired Randi to take a hard stance on her family, “This (with hands in the air emote).” As for Randi, this isn’t great news at all. Going back to last month, she regularly posted updates on her father’s road to recovery. There was a time when Randi went to her X and wrote how she had a great time visiting her dad: “Had the best day visiting my dad. Please keep him in your prayers to get stronger #blessed.”
Now, being a part of the Chiefs Kingdom, we can just hope that Randi comes out of any trouble she has found herself in. But this isn’t the first time that Randi has sent a strong message to anyone trying to harm her family.
Randi Mahomes voices her frustration with scammers
Well, Randi isn’t someone who would just accept anyone targeting her close ones. As the mother of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, she knows how to get back at haters. But this time, the situation was a little different. Randi found herself tangled with scammers who were trying to con her. Taking to her X, Randi wrote, “Something needs to be done for scammers preying on the elderly. It’s sick and not ok.” Soon after, reactions started to pour in on her message. Those who were facing the same troubles rallied behind Randi’s thoughts on scammers.

One of them wrote, “I’m with you. Social media definitely needs some rules. It’s just too wild right now.” Well, that wasn’t the only comment she got on her post. There was another who recounted an event where they went through similar troubles, “For sure. Two of my family members got hit this year by random Facebook accounts that pretended to be friends but were obviously scams.” And those reactions kept on coming as another fan’s mother had to deal with the scammers, “It’s really bad. My elderly mom moved in with me, and I’m witnessing it firsthand. She’s really trying to steer clear of it.”
Seeing Randi go through such a hard time during the holidays could make anyone upset. But all we can do is pray that Patrick Mahomes’ mother manages to find herself out of any trouble that has impacted her life.
