Xaviar Babudar, an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan known as “ChiefsAholic,” won’t be seeing the free world for a long time.

Babudar pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to counts of bank robbery, money laundering, and transporting stolen property across state lines.

Babudar, known for wearing a wolf costume to Chiefs games, was previously indicted on 19 criminal counts in Kansas City in August. The charges carry a maximum sentence of 50 years in prison.

On top of that, Babudar will also have to pay over $500,000 in restitution and surrender property acquired in his money laundering activity, which includes an autographed painting of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

U.S. District Judge Howard Sachs in Missouri will sentence Babudar on July 10 for money laundering and transporting stolen property across state lines.

Babudar first rose to fame by dressing as a wolf at a Chiefs game and generating a large social media following, but things would soon get really dark about where his money was coming from.

Babudar didn’t rob banks disguised as a wolf, but he did use a disguise.

Just last year, he stole $1,100 from Heritage Banks in Sparks, Nevada while simply wearing a beanie, COVID-19 mask, and a fanny pack. His other disguises consisted of ski masks and goggles. He would regularly threaten bank employees at gunpoint and warned he’d shoot them unless they gave him what he wanted which was cold hard cash.
