Jarvis Landry, who missed the 2023 season, will try to make an NFL comeback this year, beginning in Jacksonville.

Landry’s reps confirmed to NFL.com that he will attend the Jaguars’ upcoming rookie minicamp. The camp runs from May 14 to 16, and with Landry expected to participate, Jacksonville will be able to assess how the veteran receiver performs on the field without making any financial commitments to him.

The Jaguars will be able to use the three-day camp to determine whether Landry can still participate. The five-time Pro Bowler has had a somewhat promising career since joining the league with the Miami Dolphins in 2014, but he struggled with injuries in 2022, which is a primary reason he did not participate in 2023.

Last week, Jarvis Landry spoke on the Rich Eisen show to discuss why now is the right moment for him to return to the league after missing the entire season.

“The last two seasons that I’ve played haven’t went ideally for me. Being injured in Cleveland, injured in New Orleans, last year just trying to make sure I get my legs back under me,” Landry said during the show’s segment, guest-hosted by NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

“To be able to walk into an opportunity this year, going out to get healthy, working with doctors, getting the support from people that I trust dearly, switching agents in the middle of all this, it really was a dark time for me trying to figure all of that out and maneuver.”

Landry does not want his career to end due to injuries which is why he is trying to get back into the league. That might happen with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Landry certainly has the numbers and past success that show he can get the job done.

During his last two years in the league, Landry had 77 catches for 842 yards and three touchdowns. Landry had 25 receptions for 272 yards and one touchdown with the Saints in 2022. He made the Pro Bowl five times between 2015 and 2019, playing for both the Dolphins and the Browns.

In his career, Jarvis Landry has caught 713 passes for 7,870 yards and 38 touchdowns. He has started 116 games
