Another male is facing charges stemming from Rashe Rice’s car accident in Dallas.

The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver has turned himself in to police following Dallas PD announcing warrants for him and SMU cornerback Teddy Knox on Wednesday following their involvement in a collision that left several people nursing injuries.

Knox, who is facing multiple charges, was suspended by the Mustangs, who announced as much on Thursday.

Both men are facing one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving injury, according to TMZ.

Rice has admitted that he was the one driving the Lamborghini, which he had rented, while Knox is alleged to have been the driver of the Corvette.

SMU released a statement on Thursday in which the school acknowledged Knox as a part of the program, though not while he is part of an active case.

“Knox has been suspended from the team,” it reads. “SMU takes these allegations seriously. Federal student privacy laws prevent the University from discussing details involving student disciplinary proceedings.”

The 21-year-old, who was not in police custody at the time of the announcement, was a four-star recruit out of Woodlands High School in Texas. He started his college career at Mississippi State before his transfer to SMU.

Knox made four tackles in 11 games for the Mustangs last season.

“We have fully cooperated with law enforcement,” his attorney, Deandra Grant, said. “Other than that we have no further comment at this time.“

Rashee Rice’s Attorney Vows Chiefs Star Will Make Things Right With Crash Victims

Meanwhile, Rashe Rice’s lawyer, Royce West, has declared that the Chiefs wideout will do whatever it takes to make things right with the victims of the crash.

Rice and his friends did not remain on the scene of the accident after their alleged street race led to said collision, fleeing before police arrived. It’s certainly not a good look for the player, who would have come off much better if he took responsibility for his actions immediately.

However, he has shown contrition, and it’s hoped that he keeps his word to those affected.
