The Super Bowl will be a crazy time in Las Vegas.

It appears it has already gotten about as crazy as anybody would’ve imagined.

In an effort to keep the players away from the famed Vegas strip, the Chiefs are staying at the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa while the 49ers will reside at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa. The properties are located about 25 miles east of The Strip.

While the league got them out of a potential disaster with so many casinos, they may have exposed them to another danger.

Gossip spread online that an unidentified NFL player staying at Lake Las Vegas was bitten by a coyote on Monday.

The Henderson Police Department released a statement Monday evening saying it had no record or report of “any incident involving a coyote nor a professional athlete.”

If it truly happened and it was a player who contributed a lot to either team, the news would be out on who that person was. It makes you wonder if the particular player tried to pet the coyote or if the wild animal ran up and bit him.

We shall find out in the coming days.
